Based on the customer’s design concept, we supported the customer in realizing the product’s transition from design to mass production.
Solution
The aromatherapy diffuser project consists of 30 plastic components. In the early stage of market development, the demand volume was uncertain. To reduce the customer’s initial mold investment, we helped optimize the mold combination strategy and developed only 17 sets of molds.
Prior to mold manufacturing, we conducted mold flow analysis to evaluate runner balance. This analysis enabled us to achieve simultaneous mass production of different product variants using the same set of molds, maximizing mold utilization efficiency.
Feedback & Results
The molds performed perfectly during the first trial run, meeting all mass production standards. They were then delivered to the customer for direct mass production use.
