Product Requirements:
The product is a medical device, made of PC material. The product has thin walls, with a parallelism requirement of 0.1 mm, and the surface must be free from weld lines.
Product Overview:
Material: PC. Dimensions: D8 × 180 mm. Wall thickness: 0.5 mm. The mold has a 1 × 1 cavity configuration.

Mold Solution:
To meet the requirements of thin walls, a weld‑line‑free surface, and flatness, detailed mold flow analysis was performed before mold manufacturing to determine the precise gate location, ensuring uniform filling of the part. Due to the thin walls, high mold temperature and a high‑injection‑speed injection molding machine are required. The mold incorporates a specially designed cooling circuit to ensure uniform mold temperature. A Sumitomo electric high‑speed injection molding machine was selected, perfectly resolving the issues of difficult filling and deformation of thin‑walled parts.
