Product Requirements:
The part is an automotive seat component with irregular curved features on all sides. The contour tolerance requirement is ±0.25 mm, which is very demanding.
Product Overview:
Material: PA6 + GF30. Dimensions: 192 × 99 × 69 mm. The surface has a textured finish. The mold is a 1 + 1 cavity configuration producing left and right parts.

Mold Solution:
To meet the requirements, detailed mold flow analysis was performed before mold manufacturing, determining the precise gate location and predicting warpage. Through repeated mold flow simulations to verify warpage values, a pre‑deformation (compensation) was applied to the part design. The mold was then designed based on the pre‑deformed part, which perfectly achieved the required curved contour within the factory’s capability.

The mold achieved mass production readiness at T0, and the customer is very satisfied.
