Product Description:
The driver-side upper steering column shroud for Great Wall Motors is a key component of the automotive protection system. Dimensions: 168 mm × 226 mm × 77 mm. Material: PP-EPDM-TD20. It has irregular undercuts on the inner side, making demolding difficult.
Solution:
Based on the product features, mold flow analysis was used to perform "Fill + Pack + Warp" analysis to predict potential issues during the molding process and ensure the molding quality of the part. The inner side of the product has deep undercut structures. The mold adopts a large-angle lifter mechanism to solve the difficult demolding problem.
Result Feedback:
The mold reached full production readiness at the T0 trial.
